Letter and Pictures from Sierra Bullets Fan Stephen G. Savage

June 21, 2014 –

“My buddy suggested I write to you guys to show what your “GameKing” can do.  I’ve enclosed pictures for your wall of shame (see below).  I started hand loading in 2009.  Both my buddy Pete and I shoot .270s.  I use a model 70 lightweight and Pete uses a Ruger 77.

We are serious deer hunters and we hunt the Musselshell River in Montana when we get tags.  I load the 130 grain GameKing (#1820) with Win 760 powder – both our guns love this bullet.  They hold less than one inch groups at 100 yards.  We’ve recovered a few from our deer – perfect mushroom.  Just want to say thanks!

This year I’m going to try my model 70 in .243 Win with 100 grain SBT GameKing (#1560).

P.S. Tried other manufacturers, but prize wise and quality – you guys are on top.”
